A Universe of Stories - Space Adventures at Cortez Library

In keeping with the 2019 Summer Libraries theme, A Universe of Stories, Science Matters created Space Adventures!

This fun and interactive show is coming up Wed., June 19 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cortez Public Library.

What do we know about space? From gravity to wind to chemical reactions, outer space is a very different place from Earth. Learn about the properties of space, see how rockets make it to space, find out how to make a comet out of dry ice and explore a non-Newtonian substance!

The library is located at 202 N. Park St., Cortez, CO. and may be reached by calling 970-565-8117.

Please come join us for this FREE event which is part of our Summer Reading Program Family Entertainment Series lineup.

This is brought to you by Golden Dreams under Onward!, a Legacy Foundation.

The 2019 Summer Reading Program "A Universe of Stories" is underway at the library.
Please drop by to pick up a reading log and register.  If you register before July 5th you'll be eligible to receive a cool t-shirt designed by student Jadyn Williams.  Don't miss out.  Join in the fun!
