Colorado Laureate Sorority Announces Sweethearts Betty Semadeni and Tammy Allen
The Colorado Laureate sorority would like to announce their Sweethearts for the 2019 - 2020 year.
We have a dynamic duo - Betty Semadeni and Tammy Allen.
Betty Semadeni holds the Laureate degree. Betty has served as our president in 2015 and 2006. She received the honor of Sweetheart this year and in 2014.
She has been Girl of the Year in 2015 , 2006 and 2004. The Order of the Rose is given to a Sister who represents the ideals of Beta Sigma Phi. Betty was given this honor in 2015. Betty has held all offices and served on all committees.
She helps with any fundraisers. She has gifted us with her organizational skills. She is our party guru. We enjoy her sweet spirit. Betty is married to Mark, She enjoys reading and is a proud grandma.
Tammy Allen has been an active member since 1987. She holds a masters degree/
Tammy is the current extension officer. She has served as a past president for two terms. Tammy was also a sweetheart in 2006. She has been Girl of the Year six times. In 2004 Tammy earned The Order of The Rose award. In 2015, she was awarded The Silver Circle award for 25 years of active service.
Tammy's daughter, Natasha has been a legacy member since 2004. Both her son Grant Allen, and Natasha were recipients of our annual scholarship. When asked about what she liked about sorority Tammy stated she enjoyed the Sisterhood and helping the community. Tammy has at every opportunity assisted us in every service project.
Tammy has two handsome grandsons, and is married to Jay. She makes gardening look easy. She is a quilter and crafter.
