Dolores County Results - Colorado Coordinated Elections

Unofficial Results

The Colorado Coordinated Elections have come to an end today and Dolores County Clerk Lana Hancock has released the unofficial results.

This was Hancock's first completed election in her official capacity as Clerk. According to Hancock, the election went smoothly and without incident.

A total of 800 voters out of 1,825 registered voters cast their ballot.

That's a turnout of 43.84%.


Dolores County School District Directors

Director A - Kimberly Marie Alexander wins unopposed with 465 votes

Director C - Incumbent Crystal Jarmon wins with 448 votes over Scott W Snyder with 224 votes. 

Director E - Incumbent Jenny M Smith wins unopposed with 516 votes


Proposition CC, referred to the voters by the state legislature to retain revenue for education and transportation: WITHOUT RAISING TAXES AND TO BETTER FUND PUBLIC SCHOOLS, HIGHER EDUCATION, AND ROADS, BRIDGES, AND TRANSIT, WITHIN A BALANCED BUDGET, MAY THE STATE KEEP AND SPEND ALL THE REVENUE IT ANNUALLY COLLECTS AFTER JUNE 30, 2019, BUT IS NOT CURRENTLY ALLOWED TO KEEP AND SPEND UNDER COLORADO LAW, WITH AN ANNUAL INDEPENDENT AUDIT TO SHOW HOW THE RETAINED REVENUES ARE SPENT?

Proposition CC has been defeated Statewide, and Dolores County results show that the County was also not in favor of this resolution.

Yes/For - 218 votes

No/Against - 575 votes


Proposition DD, referred to the voters by the state legislature to authorize and tax sports betting: SHALL STATE TAXES BE INCREASED BY TWENTY-NINE MILLION DOLLARS ANNUALLY TO FUND STATE WATER PROJECTS AND COMMITMENTS AND TO PAY FOR THE REGULATION OF SPORTS BETTING THROUGH LICENSED CASINOS BY AUTHORIZING A TAX ON SPORTS BETTING OF TEN PERCENT OF NET SPORTS BETTING PROCEEDS, AND TO IMPOSE THE TAX ON PERSONS LICENSED TO CONDUCT SPORTS BETTING OPERATIONS?
