One candidate finalist is Dolores County resident Anne Deyell-Lawrence of Cahone, Colorado. The other is attorney Anthony Baca who resides and practices law in Broomfield, Colorado, but who also is a name that matches a property owner in Dolores County's Glade Ranch.
Nominees Anthony Baca of Broomfield, and Anne Deyell-Lawrence of Cahone were selected in a videoconference meeting yesterday (Sept. 2, 2020).
Any resident who wishes to express comments regarding the nominees and consideration for their final selection should be sent via e-mail to the governor at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Time is of the essence for comments though, because under the Colorado Constitution - the governor has 15 days from Sept. 2, 2020, within which to appoint one of these two nominees.
