Velda Ray was a great Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather.
He spent many years farming and trucking. He truly loved the years he spent farming. You could find him hanging out at a truck stop enjoying a cup of coffee or at McDonald's watching the little kids play.
He loved his family and he loved making homemade ice cream and fudge to share with them. As a Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa, he would get down on the floor and play with the kids and watch cartoons.
Ray was a kind, loving man with the brightest twinkling blue eyes. He was quick with a joke and had a laugh that would make the whole room smile.
Ray would often yodel or sing a little tune.
He was a wheeling and dealing kind-hearted soul who would help anyone in need or give you the very shirt off his back.
He would tease you then laugh until tears rolled down his cheeks. Until his very last day, he kept his amazing sense of humor.
Ray loved and was loved by so many. He will be missed, but never forgotten.
