10:00 AM Tyler Willbanks:                                                                   Farming w/ Horses for the Commercial Producer: demo plowing, harrowing, cultivating, etc. and discuss the pros and cons of horse farming for this size (including soil health, cost effectiveness, yields, time management, etc). We will be hooking up at least 3, maybe 4 horses, and will use our 3 year old for this demo so we will also touch on the subject of how old to start the young drafts. 4:00 PM Tyler Willbanks and Dave Harwood:                                 Multiple Horse Hitch Demo: the plan is to hook up our horses in many different ways with teams of 3, 4, 5 and maybe 6 if they can all get along. The hitches we will highlight are the ones most commonly used for farming, not showing, and we will explain the difference. Weather may make this event move locations please check in at info booth.
