The Last Stand of the Wolf at Cortez Library
That not-so-fairy-tale a question will be up for discussion at the Cortez Public Library (202 N. Park St) on Wednesday, January 23 at 6pm, when authors Andrew Gulliford and Tom Wolf will be on hand to discuss their latest book project: The Last Stand of the Wolf. Gulliford and Wolf took this classic book, written in 1929 by outdoorsman & conservationist Arthur Carhartt, (a contemporary of Aldo Leopold) and annotated it with a contemporary critique. Perspectives from all concerned regarding reintroduction of the Colorado gray wolf are presented for community discussion. Please join us! The event is free and refreshments available.
