Todd Parisi Letter of Intent Dove Creek Ambulance District
I, Todd Parisi, will be running for a board position with the Dove Creek Ambulance District this coming May.
I have over 20 years of Medical and Emergency Management experience. My notable accomblishments include being awarded the SouthWest All Hazards Planning Region Emergency Manager of the year in 2012. I have also worked the front line with law inforcement, fire fighters, legal and medical personnel, obtaining a Colorado State Patrol Certificate of Appreciation in April of 2011.
Currently, I am a professor with Utah State University teaching in Cortez at the Unlimited Leaning Center providing classes in Emergency Medical Response (EMR).
Throughout my time in the medical and emergency management, I have worked with both the crews and the boards of various agencies within the region. I hope to bring that experience and knowledge to the Board of the Dove Creek Ambulance District.
My primary goal for the Ambulance is to see more educational opportunities for our crew and the local community it serves. This edulactional component would keep our local service on the cutting edge of exceptional medical care, as well as provide more members of our community available to serve in EMS.
With my background in education, I feel that I could make improvements to an already fine service at the Dove Creek Ambulance District.
